Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Engineer located in Fontana CA.. The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality, and delivery. This role identifies and resolves production challenges related to materials, processes, and tooling, while supporting the implementation of new technologies and engineering changes. What a typical day looks like: Manufacturing & Process Engineering Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment layout, workflow, and workforce utilization. Define, implement, and evaluate designs and processes for manufacturability. Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters. Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions. Support and oversee the introduction of new process equipment and engineering change orders (ECOs). Prepare justification for capital equipment purchases and lead implementation. Continuous Improvement & KPI Analysis Collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and recommend improvements. Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, safety enhancement, and productivity gains. Participate in cycle time reduction and throughput improvement activities. Technology & Documentation Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging manufacturing technologies and recommend adoption where applicable. Develop and maintain process documentation, including operations manuals and training materials. Implement statistical process control and research methodologies for new and existing products. Training & Collaboration Create and deliver training programs for production personnel during new technology transfers. Interface with cross-functional teams to support new process implementation and production activities. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and production staff. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment. Proficiency in data analysis, process optimization, and statistical methods. Excellent problem-solving and project management skills. Experience with CAD software and ERP systems is a plus. Preferred Skills: Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification. Experience with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
