Groupe Marcelle is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated candidate to fill the permanent full-time position of Production Engineer.
Reporting to the Director of Production, the Production Engineer will primarily work on improving our production processes to ensure employee safety, product quality, increased efficiency, and cost reduction.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all production data to ensure that team leaders and operators have the necessary information to produce efficiently. For all products, especially new launches and promotions:
  • Keep filling instructions up to date (volumes, torques, product-specific constraints, etc.)
  • Ensure the Bill of Materials (BOM) is accurate and make necessary adjustments with the supply chain team
  • Document packaging methodologies (line setup, production rate, number of operators, etc.)
  • Based on well-documented and standardized operations, work on optimizing production methods to improve quality and reduce costs
  • Participate in production trials for new products
  • Write/review quality system procedures related to production
  • Contribute to various process improvement projects
  • Participate in non-conformity investigations to identify root causes and implement solutions
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the packaging departments
  • Act as Production Supervisor during absences.
