Description

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, particularly aseptic fill-finish operations and process development.
  • Practical, hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from daily manufacturing operations, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and site leadership to implement sustainable improvements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for filling equipment and associated support systems.
  • Assess and optimize the performance of manufacturing instruments, equipment, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the evaluation, implementation, and integration of process changes and new technologies.
  • Participate in or support process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) to identify and mitigate process and product risks as part of validation readiness.
  • Provide technical support for ongoing manufacturing activities, ensuring alignment with quality and compliance standards.
  • Apply Good Engineering Practices (GEP) to promote engineering and operational excellence across the site.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to define system requirements and understand functional specifications.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed to support production operations.
