Job Description We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our Bukit Raja factory. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the continuous and efficient production of our high quality crane components. As our Production Engineer, you will work closely with production and all the main stakeholders such as procurement, engineering and order management. You are the main link between Engineering and shop floor. Your Key Tasks and Responsibilities: · Develop and maintain production schedules, coordinating with, production teams to align with demand and capacity · Create and manage production schedules to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of products · Monitor fabrication, installation and testing work progress whether conducted internally or externally and reporting to the superior · Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, improve productivity, and implement strategies to reduce costs and enhance quality. · Assessing and improving production methods to enhance quality, reduce costs and improve productivity by implementing lean manufacturing. · Workload and work capacity analysis and forecasting. · Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and on time delivery · Address production disruptions and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines · Compile and submit reports to management on production status and performance · Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the production environment. · Solve production problems and provide technical support to ensure seamless operations. Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards Qualifications Qualifications · Degree in suitable technical field or equivalent working experience in metal manufacturing. · Strong knowledge in fabrication Software like SAP, Fiori · A strong understanding and knowledge in metal fabrication and quality control process i.e welding process in metal fabrication. · Good knowledge in lean method · Hands-on, proactive attitude and able to work ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. · Ability to work in a team with people of different parts of the organization. · Fluent spoken and written skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
