ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

· Qualified in a relevant Engineering / Manufacturing Degree with time served as an Engineer.
· Has experience of Lean manufacturing implementation and application – 5S, VSM, and cellular manufacturing.
· Previous experience working within manufacturing engineering or production engineering environment.
· Understanding implementation and management of an ERP / MRP system.
· Understanding of assembly manufacturing processes.
· Good knowledge of BOM’s, Routings / Planning and other manufacturing tools.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

· Experience of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma would be advantageous
· Experience with Solidworks mechanical CAD software and/or Altium electrical CAD software.
· Experience working within an ISO 9001 environment would be beneficial but not essential
· Excellent organizational and planning skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as team

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Process, Production or Manufacturing Engineer with experience in the assembly, electro-mechanical, electronics or similar Manufacturing Industry. Your main duties will include assisting to improve and implement new manufacturing processes and tackle any production issues day to day.

WHAT YOU’LL BEING DOING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

· Implement and manage efficient production workflows, including continuous improvement.
· Release, update, and control production plans, work procedures and instructions for production teams
· Collaborate with engineering design teams to transition R&D products into a production environment.
· Identifying and resolving technical issues in the manufacturing process to minimize downtime and improve product quality.
· Generate, review, approve and implement Engineering Change Requests.
· Leading process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall production output.
· Manage the creation and maintenance of BOMS’s, toolings and routings.
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and internal quality protocols.
· Design and build test jigs.
