About Nordic Air Defence Nordic Air Defence, headquartered in Stockholm, develops cutting-edge defensive solutions for both civilian and military applications. In September 2024, Nordic Air Defence unveiled its first product, the Kreuger 100, a dual-use drone-interceptor platform engineered in Sweden by a diverse, international team. Our engineers and operators bring experience from leading defence, drone, and tech organisations worldwide, including Palantir, Kratos, SAAB, Anduril, and others. The Role This is a full-time, on-site role in Stockholm. As Production Engineer, you will help scale production from 10s of UAVs per week, up to thousands of UAVs per week to help us deliver to the needs of Sweden, Ukraine, and other allies in the west. We are looking for somebody, likely with an engineering background who satisfies the following requirements: Ability to do DFM. Ability to run a sourcing team. Ability to both manage CMs and internal teams. Expertise writing build instructions. Experience training technicians. Designing of manufacturing lines. Familiarity with state of the automation techniques. Additionally: You are ideally a citizen of a NATO country. You must be prepared to relocate to Stockholm permanently. Any experience working with the defence industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
The Production Engineer will be responsible for scaling production capacity from tens to thousands of UAVs per week to meet demand from Sweden, Ukraine, and allied nations. This involves designing manufacturing lines and managing production processes.
