Production Engineer-(NPI)
Salary: £40K-£45K

Hours: Monday–Friday, Full-Time

Our market leading client is seeking a proactive Production Engineer to join their team and work mainly on the introduction of new products into the business and using your experience within PCBA manufacturing. This is a
role that requires 50% on the shop floor and the other is desk based looking at all the theoretical side including drawings/diagrams and data analysis.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years working in a PCBA manufacturing environment
• A formal qualification in an engineering discipline- electronics or equivalent
• Demonstrate ability to technically support customers and production with manufacturing queries

• Support introduction of new products (NPI) into the business
• Interpret a wide variety of customer provided data, determine build process, and provide supporting documentation for manufacturing
• Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe and efficient manner
• Diagnose problems in production, offer technical solutions and provide recommendations and training
• Collate data for departmental and business KPIs
• Liaising with other internal departments and engineers to develop plans that improve production, reduce costs and increase efficiencies
