Our current Production Engineer is moving on to a new assignment and now we are looking for his replacer. As a part of Category Area Wood, you will have access to a huge knowledge base and experience in both leadership and Wood material, production and value chain. Job Description Production Engineer will be responsible for a variety of responsibilities as below: Ensure Quality Assurance by overseeing the implementation of specifications and product requirements, and verifying supplier compliance. Additionally, contribute to the development of the audit plan, including preparation, gap analysis, and closure of identified gaps. Evaluate production risks and actively work towards achieving stable and reliable processes. Managing Quality Compliance by requesting specific articles from Product Compliance Specialist for spot checks, conducting spot checks in DWP, in case of deviations- agree and confirm causing party, root cause analysis including containment, corrective and preventive actions. Continuously challenge supplier production processes and share best practices and good examples. Collaborate with Suppliers to create action plans (APL) Product Development- Support Product Engineer in the Development phase with production knowledge and Supplier input. Sounds exciting, right? Qualifications We are looking for someone with solid knowledge & experiences of new product introduction, production processes and technologies, proven experience in supplier management & project management, who enjoys building and maintaining business relations, having excellent communication skills. You work well in a team and believe in respecting others. You adapt to changes, take responsibility and are able to prioritize. We believe that you have a background in engineering, quality and production development and you preferably having an engineering education and at least 2-5 years of working experience. You also have good communicative skills in English. Travelling is a part of the assignment since our Engineers spend a lot of time with our suppliers. Additional Information This position will be based in Kaunas, Lithuania. Salary range for this position is 4500-5500 EUR gross.
