Description

ABOUT PURITY GAS INC.

Purity Gas is a results-oriented team of professionals driven by passion for innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration. We disrupt the multi-billion-dollar nitrogen gas market with state-of-the-art technology that allows commercial & industrial gas users to reliably, safely and cost-effectively produce their own supply of gaseous nitrogen in-house and on-demand, for a fraction of the cost of buying nitrogen from third-party gas suppliers.
Our cutting-edge NITROCENTER® solutions offer a compelling value proposition to industrial and commercial nitrogen gas users, primarily through the capability to produce nitrogen gas on demand, often at a staggering 90% cost reduction compared to conventional bulk nitrogen gas delivery methods. However, the advantages extend far beyond financial savings. Our nitrogen generation technology prioritizes environmental sustainability by minimizing energy consumption during production and eliminating the necessity for nitrogen gas transportation via traditional means, such as transport trucks. This approach not only reduces carbon footprint but also enhances operational efficiency, aligning with our commitment to responsible and sustainable operations.
At Purity Gas, our culture is defined by collaboration, motivation, and adaptability, creating an environment that inspires both our team members and partners alike. We prioritize a work culture that not only fosters excitement but also remains responsive to the diverse needs of our clients, partners, and employees. Our greatest asset lies in our positive, goal-focused team, whose dedication drives us towards collective success, innovation, and growth.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Production Engineer at Purity, you will play a critical role in scaling manufacturing capacity for our NitroVault™ and Nitrocenter® nitrogen gas generation systems. This role will focus on optimizing production processes, ensuring product quality, and supporting the rapid integration of new R&D findings into live manufacturing. The Production Engineer will work closely with R&D, the Engineering Team, Mechanical Technicians, Electrical Technicians, and Controls Specialists to deliver high-efficiency, lean manufacturing processes that meet the demands of our fast-growing customer base.
You will be analyzing existing production methods, designing improvements, creating standardized work documentation, and ensuring manufacturing processes operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, environmental, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with hands-on involvement in both mechanical and electrical systems, working directly on equipment and processes to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Process Engineering (or equivalent practical work experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in production or industrial engineering, preferably in industrial equipment manufacturing.
  • Comfortable with hands-on involvement in both mechanical and electrical systems, working directly on equipment and processes to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven experience in process optimization.
  • Strong organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and independently.

  • Familiarity with quality control, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and safety regulations.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining SOPs, SWIs, and other production documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate with suppliers and manage technical aspects of material procurement.
Responsibilities
  • Optimize and improve manufacturing processes for Purity Gas’s nitrogen generation systems, applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste, increase throughput, and maintain consistent quality.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), ensuring alignment with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and training staff for consistent process adherence.
  • Collaborate with R&D to integrate new product designs, automation, and process improvements into active production lines, supporting pilot builds and trials.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations, implementing in-process quality checks and leading root cause analysis to resolve production issues.
  • Specify, procure, and commission production equipment, tooling, and fixtures, while supporting preventive maintenance and calibration programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by staying informed on emerging manufacturing technologies, materials, and industry best practices, implementing innovations that enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
