Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is currently seeking a Production Engineering Manager to join the St. Louis team in Hazelwood, MO.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 3 or more years of Production Engineering experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• 1 or more years of experience leading engineering teams and projects.

• Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Production Engineering.
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
• Manages, develops, and motivates employees.
