Join The Boeing Company’s Space Launch Systems (SLS) team as a Production Engineering Manager at Kennedy Space Center, FL and play a pivotal role in NASA’s mission to return humans to the Moon and beyond. In this critical position, you will lead the Production Engineering efforts for the final integration of the Core Stage—the heart of the most powerful rocket ever built. Your leadership will span Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Planning, Industrial Engineering, Tool Engineering, and Liaison Engineering, ensuring that every component meets the highest standards of quality and performance. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Bachelor of Science from an accredited course of study, in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

• .5+ years of experience in a production environment
• .5+ years of experience in a technical or engineering field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Experience in engineering leadership in aerospace

• .Production Engineering experience
• .Material Review Board certification or experience
• .Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
• .Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of management, customers, and partners
• .Master of Science in an engineering discipline

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required

Lead and develop a high-performing Production Engineering team focused on advancing and continuously improving production processes

• .Collaborate with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to enhance and support the production system
• .Drive key projects to stabilize and optimize production systems and tooling, and manage product and process change integration
• .Own the production build architecture, applying production simulations and lean principles to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing
• .Oversee Design and Build Integration, including the development and coordination of manufacturing build plans
• .Ensure comprehensive documentation of the Production System within the SLS Manufacturing Plan, covering safety assessments, build flow, dimensional management, tooling, fabrication, and assembly
• .Manage final bill of material reconciliation and documentation to support product traceability and quality
