WE HAVE AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED PRODUCTION ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR TO JOIN OUR BUSINESS AS WE CONTINUE TO SCALE.

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineering Supervisor to play a key role in shaping and growing our new production capabilities.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the manufacturing or production of transformers, switchgear, or similar electromechanical systems, who thrives in a hands-on environment and is excited to help scale up a high-tech, innovative manufacturing operation.
This is a leadership position with a strong engineering focus – balancing technical depth, team development, process optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration.

THE KEY EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering, with a focus on transformers, switchgear, or related high-voltage electrical equipment
• Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing or production setting
• Strong practical knowledge of production processes, testing procedures, and quality standards for electrical assemblies and power systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach to solving production challenges
• Comfortable working both on the shop floor and in collaboration with technical teams
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff and influence cross-functional teams
• Deep understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements within a high-voltage or heavy electrical manufacturing environment

The following would be advantageous:

• Experience setting up or scaling production for high-mix, low-volume electrical equipment
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience working in high-spec environments (e.g. utilities, grid infrastructure, aerospace, defence)
• Exposure to ERP/MRP systems and production documentation tools
