CEYLON COLD STORES PLC Executive – Production Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC. The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Executive – Production. The position exists to provide operational assistance to the assigned beverage production line within statutory and organizational guidelines with the objective of achieving the targeted volumes, line productivity, unit cost of production, and quality at the required time. The vacancy is a Fixed Term Contract.Job Responsibilities Monitoring the production processes and suggesting adjustments to the schedules as needed. Monitoring product standards ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed in order to meet the budgeted plant efficiency levels. Identifies areas of improvement in the plant maintenance programmed based on the best practices in the industry and suggests same to seniors. Emphasizes on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance. Analyses data and makes recommendations for improving plant operations in order to minimize losses created by plant breakdowns. Managing the equipments and materials that come into the plant, Ensuring safe and appropriate storage. Conducting an inventory register in order to ensure the efficiency of equipment and material management. Person Specifications Higher diploma in Quality Assurance / Production / Chemistry and minimum 2 years’ experience in the industry. Business understanding of Importance of productivity and product quality. SAP applications, Material Management, Statistical process control, ISO processes Understanding and requirement fulfillment of Quality Management systems, Food Safety Management System, Occupational Health and Safety management system, Environmental Safety Management System, Energy Management System, Good Manufacturing Process and PRP, CCP, OPRP. Operational organizing skills, leadership skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, decision taking & problem-solving skills and ability to work during shifts.
