Role Overview This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient production flow by monitoring jobs in real time, moving goods through work centers, and ensuring accuracy at every stage. It supports Hera’s mission by driving disciplined processes, timely reporting, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards that strengthen customer trust. By coordinating schedules, tracking parts, and expediting operations, the role helps achieve shipping goals and meet production demands, reinforcing Hera’s commitment to excellence and reliable, on-time delivery. \n Job Responsibilities Monitor production jobs and work center activity in real time to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion. Coordinate movement of finished goods between operations, expediting as needed to meet shipping and customer delivery goals. Verify accuracy and completeness of job data in ERP systems (e.g., Job Boss/Epicor) before advancing parts to the next stage. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve discrepancies and optimize schedules. Report daily production status, schedule updates, and corrective actions to leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability. Identify equipment, materials, and resources required to meet or exceed production demand while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Uphold Hera’s culture of professionalism, safety, and excellence by maintaining adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.” Required Qualifications Education & Communication – High school diploma required; ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English across teams and management. Manufacturing Operations Experience – Minimum of 2 years in a job-shop manufacturing environment, with proven ability to prioritize and adapt to changing project demands. Technical & Software Skills – Proficiency in MS Excel for managing production schedules, along with working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project. ERP & Data Accuracy – Ability to learn and apply ERP systems (e.g., Job Boss/EPICOR) to ensure accurate job tracking and reporting. Planning & Problem-Solving – Strong organizational and analytical skills to identify issues, resolve discrepancies, and maintain production flow efficiently. Preferred Qualifications ERP Systems Knowledge – Working experience with Job Boss or similar enterprise resource planning software for production tracking. Inventory & Material Handling – Background in production control, expediting, or inventory management to streamline material flow. Aerospace Manufacturing Experience – Familiarity with aerospace job-shop environments and their unique quality and compliance requirements. Continuous Improvement Mindset – Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5-S, or other process improvement initiatives. Advanced Technical Skills – Strong proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas) or scheduling tools to enhance reporting accuracy. Additional Requirements Flexibility in Priorities: Must be willing to adjust daily tasks quickly when urgent production changes occur, even if it means reworking schedules or shifting focus mid-day. Hands-On Presence: Must be comfortable spending significant time on the shop floor, directly observing processes, and physically tracking jobs rather than relying solely on system data. Conflict Resolution: Must be willing to mediate and resolve scheduling conflicts between departments (production, shipping, quality) in a professional and timely manner. Continuous Improvement Mindset: Must actively participate in identifying inefficiencies and propose process improvements, not just follow existing procedures.
