Responsibilities

Technical support to various individuals within the features and television production environments. We support various Apple products and services, as well as any specialized equipment required for the content creation process. This is a very fast-paced and highly demanding technical support environment.

Pre-Production Support

  • Provide onboarding and technical training to production crew.
  • Run kick off calls with heads of production to introduce our services, and gather requirements.
  • Collaborate with the production team to assess technical needs and recommend appropriate equipment and software.
  • Set up and configure workstations, servers, networking infrastructure, and media storage systems.
  • Administrating network storage: NAS and SAN (e.g., Jellyfish, QNAP, Quantum, Dell Isilon, G-RAID, etc.)
  • Baseline knowledge of networking. Fundamental understanding of IP networking & general network security concepts. Baseline network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, IPv4, Layer 2, Layer 3, VLAN)
  • Establish digital workflow protocols for on-set data management and delivery to post-production.
  • Provide technical setup and support of Table Reads and other video conferencing related production activities.

On-Set Support

  • Provide real-time support for video village systems, camera connectivity, and data wrangling setups.
  • Effectively diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity and storage system issues to ensure seamless operations and data integrity
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for production equipment, including Apple and Windows devices, video monitors, wireless systems, and recording devices.
  • Monitor system performance and apply updates or repairs as needed.
  • Travel onsite to production studios, offices and filming locations in UK, Europe, and as needed across other international locations.

Post-Production Support

  • Assist in setting up editing suites, color grading environments, and post production workflows.
  • Support data migration and media management to ensure compliance with delivery specifications.
  • Interface with post-production teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.

General Duties

  • Maintain accurate documentation of technical setups, incident logs, and support requests.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols for sensitive production materials.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide support for multiple concurrent productions.
  • Create an exemplary customer service experience.
  • West London and surrounding counties based, with extensive travel required
