Production Foreman Posting Location : Location GR-Athens Category Engineering Position Type Full-Time Seniority Level Associate Overview TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for a Production Foreman – Kiln Operations for our Kamari Cement Plant. The position reports to the Pyroprocess Manager. The primary scope of this role is to ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the kiln line, coordinating shift teams and monitoring all kiln-related processes, in full compliance with Health, Safety &Environmental standards. Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise kiln operations to ensure stable clinker production in line with quality standards and production targets Monitor the performance of preheater, kiln, cooler, and related systems, ensuring optimal process conditions and energy efficiency Control and adjust key process parameters (temperature, feed rates, draft, fuel input) to maintain stable kiln operation and product quality Communicate daily with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Technical teams to identify process deviations, equipment issues, and operational risks Inspect kiln equipment and production areas during shifts; identify abnormalities and coordinate corrective actions with Maintenance and Technical departments Allocate tasks, set priorities, and guide kiln shift personnel according to operational needs and company procedures Supervise internal teams and external contractors performing kiln-related interventions, inspections, or maintenance activities Ensure that contractor facilities (work areas, containers, temporary installations) are safe and compliant with site requirements. Monitor PPE use, safety essential rules and general housekeeping in all working areas. Supervise safe work practices for all contractor activities. Report and address any unsafe conditions or deviations to promote a safe environment. Ensure smooth handover between shifts, including clear communication of operational status, risks, and pending actions Prepare and submit shift reports on kiln performance, clinker quality, fuel consumption, emissions, incidents, and corrective actions Ensure compliance with operational instructions and control limits to meet quality, energy, and environmental targets Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace discipline in all kiln and preheater areas Develop, train, and motivate kiln shift personnel, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement Actively promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety &Environmental rules and company standards Qualifications Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or heavy manufacturing environments, preferably in process industries Hands-on experience with kiln or high-temperature continuous processes will be considered a strong asset Experience in supervising or coordinating production teams Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently without direct supervision Strong communication skills with a practical, operational leadership approach Safety-driven mindset with strong awareness of process and environmental risks Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken) Good knowledge of MS Office Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable) What We Offer Private health insurance Pension plan Annual medical check-up Performance bonus scheme Prepaid supermarket cards Continuous Learning &Development opportunities Internships and summer school programs for employees’ children Wellness programs and exclusive employee offers At TITAN we provide equal opportunities for employment, prohibiting any kind of discrimination.
