Description Position Overview The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating company forklift to transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated areas. Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water sources, manufactures and produces bottled water from start to finish at our Bottling Plant. Essential Job Functions: Forklift Operator The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating company forklift to transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area Operate industrial vehicles and equipment Load and unload product in/out of designated trailers and/or route trucks Move product and/or materials manually as required Communicate with Logistic's Team when loaded containers are finished for transport Validate all documentation associated with the position and turn into Loading Supervisor at the end of each shift Use of computer and tablet to print inventory tags of finished product and place on pallets Responsible for maintaining proper loading patterns of finished pallets in container Maintain accurate inventory of product with assistance from the Loading Supervisor and Logistics team Other Job Functions Troubleshoots equipment issues while working with the maintenance team to resolve any issue adversely affecting the machine’s operational status Reports any critical equipment mechanical issues to the maintenance team/manufacturing team supervisors as well as follows the standard work order process for non-critical issues Effectively communicates with management, engineers, mechanics, and other operators any condition that is or will adversely affect the machine and associated equipment’s performance Requirements 1-2 years minimum experience operating forklift required Basic knowledge of computer/tablet skills required Ability to troubleshoot computers/tablets/printers while on the job Complies with all standard safety practices, safety rules, good manufacturing practices and all other company rules and requirements.
