The Team: Our Production Operations Teams function as the primary heartbeat of the factory. Supporting that team is critical to the success of each cell and company as a whole. The Role: This General Assembler position will support and work in a variety of production departments within our Winona Campus. This position may spend its time kitting and packing materials, performing electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes, and/or operating machines as needed. Responsibilities & Qualifications You will spend your time: Inspect, kit, and package products adhering to a specified set instructions, drawings, wiring diagrams, etc. Verify correct quantities and quality checks of packaged items. Perform electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic tools Perform machine operations as needed Rotate to various workstations as required Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor Maintain clean and orderly workstations and equipment Follow prescribed safety regulations Assist other positions and departments, as needed. Perform other work as assigned. We are excited about you if you have: The knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. The capability of learning to read and interpret documents such as work orders, production schedule, work instructions, and occasional part drawings. Familiarity with the materials, tools and methods of the process. Attention to detail. The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to manage your time efficiently and without direct supervision. The ability to stand for long periods of time. The adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations. Ability to work overtime with notice when necessary Physical Demands: Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials at least 50% of time worked The ability to lift up to 30 pounds Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching and walking
