QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not required.
  • Forklift License: A valid forklift license is mandatory.
  • Skills:
  • Basic understanding of production processes, particularly in plastic pallet manufacturing.
  • Ability to assist with machine operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good physical stamina and capability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
  • Experience or willingness to handle and clean loose plastic materials.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Machine Operators: Support machine operators by preparing materials, loading and unloading components, and ensuring machinery is stocked and functioning properly.
  • Material Handling: Operate forklifts (if licensed) to transport raw materials and finished plastic pallets within the facility. Ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Production Support: Conduct routine tasks including inspecting and sorting plastic materials, assisting with product assembly, and packaging finished pallets.
  • Cleaning and Shoveling: Regularly clean and shovel loose plastic materials from the production area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, including the proper disposal of waste materials and debris.
  • Documentation: Accurately record production activities, material usage, and any incidents or discrepancies during shifts.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform any additional duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Plant Supervisor to support production goals and operational needs.
