You will dismantle large bakery machinery, such as DLV’s, Injectors, walk in ovens and packing lines etc. deep clean the machines and then reassemble, in line with the cleaning schedule as well as cleaning all the surrounding areas, such as walls, fridges, pipework and trunking, stanchions, tables, floors/steps. There will also be some domiciliary cleaning, such as canteen and corridors. The deep cleaning will also entail high level cleaning, with the use of scissor lifts and safety equipment. You will follow all health & Safety/ COSHH/ food hygiene regulations. You will need attention to detail and be thorough in the role. You will need to be physically fit as this is a manual role with large amounts of movement.
Working in a small team of a total of 4 people, you will work Sunday 9.00pm to 5.30am and Monday to Thursday 9.30pm until 6am. We may consider shift sharing if we have the right candidates. There will be training given in relation to specific machinery the period of training will depend on the individuals ability to command the role. Having any type of industrial cleaning experience and an enthusiasm for cleaning is desirable.
