ABOUT YOU - MŌ KOE

Are you passionate about hygiene, quality, and making a real impact in a manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a Cleaning Program Lead to take charge of our production cleaning program and ensure our Auckland plant meets the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance.

EDUCATION

  • NCEA Level 3 or higher (Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or Microbiology is a plus)

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in manufacturing or the food industry
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Understanding of food safety and HACCP principles
  • Ability to work in a dairy/infant formula production environment

ABOUT THE ROLE - TE TŪRANGA MAHI

Lead and manage the cleaning operations across the plant, ensuring compliance with Danone’s quality standards and protocols. You’ll foster a culture of hygiene, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our environment remains free from chemical and microbiological contamination.
About you

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Champion Danone’s HOPE values and SN Essentials (Safety, Quality, Compliance, Nature)
  • Coordinate and oversee plant cleaning to eliminate environmental contamination
  • Maintain and improve hygiene standards, cleaning procedures, and equipment
  • Lead internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions
  • Develop and manage documentation, cleaning schedules, and protocols
  • Support and train cleaning and production teams
  • Analyze cleaning data and trends to drive improvements
  • Manage cleaning tools, consumables, and chemical procedures
