Description

A key member of the site leadership team with a cross functional responsibility. You will oversee the site production process, coordinating all production activities and operations, accountable for product production and improvement efficiency meeting KPI’s consistently whilst role modelling UCC values.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators, objectives and schedules including setting priorities and performance expectations. Provide measures of control through Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reviews and communicate KPIs throughout the organization.
  • Accountable for improvement activities to achieve on-time, on-spec delivery of products to meet customer orders and requirements by adherence to plan, processes and procedures and by maintaining GMP standards.
  • Oversee development and coaching of two shift managers. Develop individual goals for direct reports and ensure alignment to functional KPI’s. Follow up and monitor progress of individual goals and adjust as necessary to changes in business priorities and objectives.
  • Lead regular meetings with operations and other support to monitor key performance trends and escalating/taking appropriate action where risk is identified. To prepare and issue regular updates and reports to all stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely interventions are taken to avoid risks to service.
  • Work as part of the senior team to compile a risk matrix for UCC Dartford and to create strategies to mitigate these, ensuring production Health & safety compliance to UK legislation and company policy and procedures.
  • Manage relevant key performance indicators utilizing the Journey to Excellence programme techniques and toolkit. Focus on cost, organizational losses and loss reduction, to maintain and surpass production targets.
  • Meet and surpass all external and internal audit standards (e.g. BRC), working with the quality department to ensure all required quality and food safety standards are met and all appropriate Quality documentation is completed in full
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and process control sheets in compliance with Quality Management Systems, ensuring comprehensive training is provided to all individuals within the Operations Team
