Job Description The Production Inventory Staff is responsible for the readiness and availability of micro ingredients and packaging materials in the feed production areas. The position is responsible for ensuring and maintaining all activities in feed production areas related to receiving, storing and distributing materials to help sustain the production of goods in a timely manner. The position is tasked in managing the production inventory system ensuring regular accounting of raw materials to always check and ensure minimal inventory variance and maintain minimum inventory. Key Duties and Responsibilities Coordination and production planning Coordinates with demand planner with regards to projected sales volume. Provides relevant information to PPIC (production planning and inventory control) to achieve an acceptable production plan (Iligan). Checks and reviews variance between actual and forecasted production numbers, and analyzes the result to improve forecast accuracy. Inventory Management Maintains inventory records and performs regular physical count. Conducts daily macro inventory through physical measurement of bins and silos to ensure the accuracy of reports. Monitors inventory level of tags and packaging materials and recommends replenishment of materials to Production Supervisor, as needed. Monitors and conducts cycle count for macro/micro materials, ingredients and packaging materials used in the production and assists in reconciling the count against the system issuance and, report any discrepancy found. Coordinates with the Inbound Warehouse Team for packaging materials, ingredients and supplies. Assists in the review of documents collected in a timely manner SAP Transactions Handles the reservation and timely and accurate posting of withdrawn materials from Interim to Production Storage Location Handles the posting of issuances for material movements in the production area Perform reversal transactions in the system when necessary. Coordinates with the Inbound Team for the timely posting of reserved materials for production issuance. Analyze inventory movements in SAP and report any discrepancies in the system Submits report to the Inventory Supervisor for inventory variances in SAP against actual inventory. General Tasks Performs jobs other than the current assignment under the following situations: When the employee assigned to do the task in question is on leave. When the employee assigned to do the task in question is out of the work area due to other assignments such as official business trips, field work, special projects, attending seminars or training. When the employee assigned to do the task in question is assigned to do jobs of higher priority. 2. Complies any or all of the following as may be assigned or required: Be a core group member in any of the company's Integrated Programs Be a member of QIT within the department and may be requested to be a member in a cross-functional project team. 3. Act as safety officer during his shift to monitor workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with the company policies and government safety regulations. Recommends measures for assuring personnel safety and anticipating hazardous and unsafe situations. FOOD SAFETY: Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company. Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities. OTHER TASKS: Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc. Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree holder in any 4-year course Experience: One (1) year experience in production, accounting, or warehousing in any manufacturing company Knowledge/Understanding in basic Excel/Spreadsheet Preferably with knowledge in SAP Licenses: N/A Additional Information CRITICAL SKILLS OR COMPETENCE REQUIRED: 1.
