We're seeking an experienced production lab tech to join our optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX. Prior relevant experience will be essential. Base pay PLUS bi-weekly bonus opportunities, a generous PTO plan and many other benefits. Shift Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 4:00am - 12:30pm Job Description Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers. This role involves: Operating the optical edger equipment efficiently Handling rejects, errors and other delays to resolve issues Monitoring job status and ensuring older, rush and hot jobs are prioritized correctly RF scanning and observing data on job trays Working with other associates in the lab, specifically the Finish Department, to make certain job are moved according to processes and quickly to the Finish team to finalize orders Following all SOPs, safety guidelines and meeting production expectations Handling any other tasks that may be assigned. Qualifications No specific education required Prior optical production with minimum 6 months relevant experience Must be able to read and write English Additional Information National Vision offers a competitive benefits package.
