THE OPPORTUNITY - PRODUCTION LABOURER
Reporting to the Planer Supervisor, a Production Labourer is responsible for the safe and efficient running of our planermill. Whether its manning equipment, working cleanup, operating machinery, performing quality checks or shipping out the final product.
We are looking for reliable, motivated, and safety conscious individuals, who have some related experience and can follow direction. Experience operating machinery and equipment, if you possess a first aid ticket or have any experience driving a forklift, they are assets but not necessary. Other qualifications include; you are mechanically inclined and bring strong problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills. You will have a proven commitment to safety management. As someone with strong interpersonal skills, you will also build a positive rapport with others and work with a high degree of integrity. Preference will be given to those who have experience in lumber manufacturing.
