Danfoss Power Solutions in Easley, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Production Lead for the first shift. This leader will actively guide Operators daily, clearly assigning tasks to ensure timely completion. They will guarantee that production orders meet deadlines and that high-quality products seamlessly advance to the next process stages. Maintain Hour-by-Hour production charts and monitors to optimize operator efficiency. Support the supervisor by promptly reporting any issues and notifying them of production supply shortages. Communicate with the supply chain team if production priorities cannot be fulfilled.

Responsibilities
  • Delegate tasks to team members and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Train operators on best work practices and standard procedures, while promoting cross-training to increase workforce versatility.
  • Collaborate with full-time trainers to enhance employees’ skill levels. Verify that scrap tickets are accurately completed.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions by performing minor repairs and contacting maintenance when necessary to maintain smooth operations.
  • Identify product defects, guide employees on repair protocols, and coordinate with the Product Engineer to address product issues.
  • Uphold and enforce housekeeping standards, including 5-S Fresh Eyes initiatives.
