Responsibilities Checks master schedule and work orders, establishes priorities, and changes schedule according to projects, work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment. Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise planning personnel of delays. May maintain inventory of equipment, materials, and parts needed to complete production. Use computer system to track schedule, work progress, and locate production units. Provide employee coaching and development. Assists in managing departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to manager. Ensures operation of equipment by ensuring proper operating procedures are followed by employees and contractors. Provides manufacturing information by analyzing and compiling production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests. Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources while maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Must have 1-3 years related experience, preferably in food manufacturing Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures. Experience with GMP’s and HACCP required. Experience with Food Safety Audit expectations and requirements preferred
