Description
Job Purpose  Oversee assigned production line(s) in the manufacturing and packaging of product. Lead line workers to maximize productivity and quality, acting as a liaison between the production supervisors and production staff.  Essential Functions  * Direct and assign work to employees within their specific area/line as needed to reach daily production targets * Ensure all required documentation is present and completed * Monitor equipment and notify Production Shift Supervisor and Maintenance of any equipment issues or problems impacting production * Train and coach new and existing employees * Maintain safe working conditions * Assist with supervisory duties as needed * Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of products manufactured in the facility * Perform other job-related duties as assigned  Qualifications (Education/Experience)  * High School diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment and/or food industry * Production and packaging equipment and process experience * Demonstrated leadership skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment * Self-directed and capable of working without close supervision  MON123 RISE123 Monday-Friday 10:45pm-7am or until the line is complete; occasional overtime on the weekends
