This position serves as the primary shop floor leader by coordinating workflow, assisting with employee training, maintaining quality standards, monitoring production performance, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Requirements Production Leadership ? Assist in directing daily production activities to meet established schedules and production goals. ? Coordinate workflow and assign tasks to production team members based on production priorities established by management. ? Monitor production progress throughout the day and proactively address bottlenecks or delays. ? Lead by example by maintaining a high level of productivity, workmanship, and professionalism. ? Serve as the primary point of contact for production questions when management is unavailable. Assembly & Manufacturing ? Assemble economizer units according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly standards. ? Support production wherever needed to maintain workflow and meet customer commitments. ? Ensure workstations remain organized, stocked, and operating efficiently. Quality Assurance ? Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process. ? Identify assembly defects, recurring quality concerns, or process inconsistencies before products reach final packaging. ? Investigate quality issues and work with the Production Supervisor/Operations Manager to determine root causes and corrective actions. ? Escalate engineering-related concerns through the Production Supervisor as needed. Additional Responsibilities ? Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as assigned. ? Support other departments when production priorities require additional assistance. ? Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of CDI Accessories. ? Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, quality, safety, and workflow.
