JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Hand to oversee operations in our food processing facility. The Lead Hand will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high standards of food safety, and leading a team of workers in various tasks related to packaging and sanitation. This position requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing practices within the food industry.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in packaging techniques relevant to the food industry.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Knowledge of food processing methods and sanitation practices is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Basic math skills for inventory management and production calculations.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and coordinate with other departments.
