PRODUCTION LEAD HAND/QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Our local state-of-the-art packing and juice bottling facility in Newcastle, Ontario is currently looking to hire a positive and experienced leader who enjoys both physical work and supporting and guiding employees.
A key position, working under the direction of the Plant Manager, Planning and Production Manager and the Production Supervisor, the Lead Hand is responsible for the operation of equipment, ensuring production and quality standards are met.

· Operate and oversee production equipment
· Prepare and maintain production, quality and safety reports, assign tasks, monitoring progress and ensure adherence to production schedules.
· Work alongside your team on production and quality goals and targets while encouraging and supporting them through leadership, mentoring and constructive feedback.
· Provide production and quality training to new team members
· Supporting the Shift Supervisor to ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, quality guidelines, manufacturing and government regulations.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
· Support all Health and Safety protocols, and Company policies.
