Merchology is in pursuit of a Production Lead to join their Manufacturing team! This person specializes in making sure quality products are produced, labor is efficient, and products are delivered on time. Join a fast-growing team with opportunities for advancement PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES A successful Production Lead will: Understand equipment and processes to troubleshoot order issues. Ensure training needs are met and hold employees accountable to documented processes. Train new associates within the department. Communicate within and across departments to gather information needed to make decisions. Troubleshoot problems with equipment or processes to resolve issues. Develop members of the production team to ensure seamless coverage and warehouse operation at all times. Identify problems, develop solutions, and implement change to make us better. Inspire, influence, and guide others to participate in common goals. Effectively delegate and empower others to manage increasing workload as needed. Assure staff scheduling is sufficient to meet business needs, including providing direction to off-shift Supervisors/Leads Ensure quality decoration of product through QC inspection. Take ownership and accountability for all safety and quality incidents within your area of responsibility. Requirements Ability to stand for 7-9 hours per day A minimum of 12 months related experience Detail oriented, organized, and accurate Positive attitude and team leader Intermediate skills and knowledge Excellent vision and fine motor skills to work with detailed product, small parts machinery, and fine threads Ability to identify colors and shades Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly Ability to read and understand English Excellent employee relations skills to lead in a team setting. Positive employee relations with all other staff. Excellent ability to make decisions.
