Description About the Role We’re hiring a Production Lead for First Shift at our Via manufacturing site. This role is essential to daily operations – supporting team coordination, ensuring tasks are executed safely and efficiently, and helping maintain quality and performance on the floor. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Lead acts as the go-to resource for operators and helps bridge communication between team members and leadership. Requirements Core Responsibilities: Assigns and monitors daily tasks to ensure smooth and efficient production flow Demonstrates proficient knowledge of machines, tools, and processes, and shares knowledge with peers Performs first-line quality checks and ensures immediate adherence to safety practices Communicates updates, escalates issues early, and ensures alignment with production goals Uses ERP systems and handheld devices to track line activity and input data Acts as a role model in following supervisor directives, company policies, including attendance, conduct, and performance Supports team morale by addressing small issues and escalating issues to the supervisor when appropriate Key Qualifications: Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and safety protocols Comfortable leading small groups and collaborating with Supervisors and team members Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and support others with patience and clarity Strong attendance, professionalism, and consistent application of company policies Benefits All regular full-time employees are eligible for benefits beginning the first of the month following their hire date.
