About the Opportunity
A growing manufacturing facility in Etobicoke is looking to add a hands-on, motivated Production Lead to oversee daily operations across printing, laminating, and cutting. The Production Lead will play a key role in ensuring on-time, high-quality output while mentoring staff, resolving operational challenges in real time, and driving efficiency across the floor.Key Responsibilities

Oversee Production Operations: Manage day-to-day activities in printing, laminating, and cutting to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
*
Lead & Mentor Team: Supervise and guide production staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
*
Ensure Quality & Efficiency: Monitor outcomes, maintain quality standards, and drive continuous improvement.
*
Workflow & Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues quickly to keep production on track.
*
Schedule & Staffing Management: Work with the Director of Operations to plan production schedules, allocate resources, and manage overtime needs.
*
Troubleshoot & Support: Provide real-time support during and outside of business hours as needed.
*
Continuous Improvement: Analyze production outcomes, identify root causes of errors, and implement corrective measures.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

*
3+ years in a production or manufacturing environment (print or custom manufacturing preferred)
*
Zund and/or cutting knowledge
*
Proven leadership experience managing teams
*
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
*
Ability to work full-time on-site with occasional after-hours support
*
Excellent organizational and communication skills
