Job Overview  Raycap, Inc. is now hiring a swing shift Production Lead to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of production and lead activities. Knowledge of multiple production processes and tasks is an important element of this position. Assisting in in decisions regarding people, material, equipment and workflow, based on changes in product demand and mix requirements, will be a part of the role. You may also need to set up, operate, and maintain process machinery and equipment.  Swing Shift Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:30pm - 2:00am with overtime as needed Primary Job Responsibilities    * Verify materials on work order to ensure correct number of components are available for production * Ensure all employees abide by the safety regulations * Responsible to keep line clean of any debris at all times; clean up production line when production is completed  * Review work order for assembly instruction * Assign work to employees * Train employees on the procedure to assemble products per assigned role for the day * Update production metrics on hourly production for Production Supervisor * Prepare documents regarding line and quality checks; request additional components for production line as needed * Escalate production issues to Production Supervisor or Production Manager as needed * Perform quality checks of the line; perform other duties as needed or assigned Qualifications  * High School diploma or GED equivalent  * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Knowledge of computers and programs contained with Microsoft Office * Ability to perform a variety of production operations or operate a variety of production machinery and equipment Physical Demands * The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, keyboards or controls * Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear * Occasionally required to walk, sit; and may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl * Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus Who we are  Raycap, Inc. creates products that protect and support the world’s most valuable assets.
