Description The Production Associate Lead for the Travel Crew is a full-time lead role responsible for executing high-quality event installations and strikes across the United States. This position combines hands-on production work, team leadership, logistics coordination, and customer-facing service. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment and enjoy travel, teamwork, and building large-scale events from the ground up. Workdays can be long and schedules may vary week-to-week based on event demands, but the work is highly rewarding and critical to delivering exceptional client experiences. Benefits 401(k) Safe Harbor with 5% employer match Medical, dental, vision, life/disability insurance offerings PTO and Holiday Pay Employee Referral Bonus Program Overtime opportunities Travel opportunities across the U.S. Per diem and/or travel accommodations (if applicable) Primary Responsibilities Event Execution & Production Lead and actively participate in the set-up and strike of events, including tents and other party rental items Ensure all installations meet company quality standards, safety guidelines, and client expectations Troubleshoot on-site challenges and adapt quickly to changing conditions (weather, site constraints, timelines) Travel & Logistics Travel extensively to event sites nationwide (multi-day and multi-week trips required) Coordinate and execute efficient load-ins and load-outs Ensure proper packing, inventory handling, and transportation of equipment Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure job readiness Team Leadership Lead, direct, and support a crew of production associates on-site Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining productivity and morale Train and mentor team members on proper installation techniques, safety, and company procedures Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment Customer Service Serve as an on-site representative of the company Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and venue staff Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering on scope, timelines, and quality Requirements Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Prior experience in event production, construction, logistics, or a related field preferred Previous leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred Skills & Abilities Strong leadership and team management skills in high-pressure environments Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing jobsite conditions Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong communication and customer service abilities Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal systems) Ability to perform basic math and measurements (critical for tenting/layout work) Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 62+ lbs repeatedly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts) and in outdoor environments Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain) Certifications & Requirements OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification (preferred or willingness to obtain) Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift certification (preferred) Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Safety Expectations Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including: Hard hats, safety vests, gloves, and steel-toe boots Follow safe practices for tent installation, rigging, and equipment handling Promote a safety-first culture among crew members Work Environment & Schedule Full-time position with variable hours (30–50+ per week) depending on event schedule Frequent travel required, including nights, weekends, and holidays Workdays may be long and physically demanding Work performed both indoors and outdoors at event venues nationwide What Success Looks Like in This Role Events are executed safely, on time, and to high quality standards Crew members are productive, engaged, and well-led Clients and partners have a positive, professional experience Equipment is handled properly and logistics run smoothly Challenges are resolved quickly with a solutions-oriented mindset Ideal Candidate Profile Hands-on leader who leads by example Comfortable with travel and non-traditional schedules Calm under pressure and highly adaptable Strong work ethic with a team-first mentality Takes pride in building memorable event experiences
Responsibilities
This lead role involves actively participating in and leading the setup and dismantling of large-scale events across the US, ensuring all installations meet high quality and safety standards.
