Description
One position for an hourly Production Lead is now open within the Press A crew at the Natchitoches EWP Mill. The Production Lead works with production team leadership to ensure excellence in achieving safety, quality and production goals. This individual is responsible for participating in classroom, on the job training & other developmental activities to learn the technical aspects of the manufacturing process, gain a comprehensive knowledge of each department, while developing leadership and teambuilding skills. This individual will lead the production team during a supervisor’s absence and work on special projects & initiatives as assigned.
The wage for this position is $28.04 per hour.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, particularly in Forestry, Business Administration, Finance, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Two years’ previous key leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in route manufacturing concepts such as housekeeping, ergonomics, and labor efficiency.
• Experience in wood products manufacturing.
• Experience with LEAN processes.
