Description
SARSTEDT, a leading manufacturer and distributor of blood collection and medical devices, laboratory consumables and instrumentation, seeks a Production Line Inspector.  Shift: 3rd shift Hours: 10pm - 6am (Monday - Friday) / Some Saturdays Department: Injection Molding Summary  Responsible for running various printing and assembly machines efficiently to reach performance standards, while ensuring quality of products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.   Responsible for first line visual inspections on multiple machines for non-conforming product and packaging. Performs and documents cleaning requirements for assigned machines. Documents product information and amounts on transport bin tracking sheet. Performs machine line inspections and documents findings. Works according to safety regulations at all times and reports unsafe conditions immediately. Requirements/Qualifications  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.    While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.   The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb.
