PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Production Line Worker is responsible for operating machinery and performing various tasks throughout the vegetable oil, line, and production process, including receiving raw materials, cleaning, processing, refining, filtering, packaging, and quality control checks, while adhering to safety and hygiene regulations within a manufacturing facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Unloading and inspecting incoming deliveries of products to ensure quality and quantity meet specifications. Operating filling and sealing equipment to package the finished vegetable oil into containers, ensuring proper labeling and weight accuracy. Performing routine quality checks on oil samples throughout the production process, including tests for acidity, moisture content, and color, and documenting results per instruction. Performing basic cleaning and maintenance on production machinery to ensure optimal operation and prevent breakdowns. Adhering to strict safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), following proper sanitation practices, and reporting any hazards. Performs other clerical duties. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Basic mechanical skills for equipment operation and troubleshooting Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards Attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The employee is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs Repetitive hand use is required, including pushing and pulling up to 50lbs, reaching above shoulder Frequent bending and squatting are required The ability to endure physically demanding shifts and repetitive tasks is crucial Successfully passing the Human Performance Evaluation on Lift, Lift-Carry, Push-Pull and Repetitive Posture.
