Job Details Salary Range: $23.00 - $24.00 Hourly The Old Globe seeks a full-time Production Management Assistant to support the realization of shows and productions and the daily operations of the production office. Working closely with the Production Manager and Associate Production Manager, this position plays a key role in ensuring efficient workflow, clear communication, and smooth logistical coordination across all production-related activities. This is a multifaceted and fast-paced position requiring the ability to switch tasks quickly while maintaining exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Track production expenses and assist with budget documentation as needed. Schedule theatre spaces, rehearsal rooms, and production facilities. Maintain and update the producing calendar and production schedules. Create, edit, and distribute weekly schedules and departmental communications. Support production labor scheduling, including crew calls, time and attendance compliance and staffing logistics. Coordinate company vehicle usage, documentation, and maintenance needs. Assist Senior Producer with Production offers and communications as requested. Assist with onboarding of seasonal hires, visiting artists, and production staff. Arrange and track crew meals and hospitality needs. Serve as a communication link between production staff, visiting artists, and internal departments such as Facilities, Box Office, and Finance. Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth production of office operations. Perform other duties as assigned to support a positive and efficient production environment. Qualifications Required Skills and Abilities The successful candidate will have the following skills and abilities: Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a customer-service mindset. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard office equipment. Ability to build positive working relationships across departments and with visiting artists. Comfort handling confidential information with discretion. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Experience in a theatre, arts, or production environment is preferred but not required. Full-time position with benefits including 401(k), vacation, health insurance, and holidays. Pay range is $23.00-$24.00 per hour.
