What You’ll Get to Do This position will be responsible for meeting/improving and maintaining safety, employee relations, training, productivity, and quality standard goals. Responsibilities: Supervise a diverse work group including the racking, unracking/inspecting, tank and crane operation, lab and wastewater Communicate the goals of the organization to the work force through both one on one, team and safety Monitor and manage production Work with other supervisors and external customers to adjust schedules as Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing, educating, and coaching employees to follow all company safety and environmental policies and Assist in development and maintain process documentation and work Facilitate problem solving efforts, identify root causes, implement solutions, audit and report results to the Anodize Manager and Maintenance Train employees and facilitate goal oriented continuous improvement processes to reduce waste and improve processes (Processes include, but are not limited to: OpEx, Lean and 5S techniques. Lead by example; must be positive, consistent, impartial, and fair with all employees and demonstrate consistent enforcement of all company policies and Handle all disciplinary issues within scope of Monitor and manage scheduled and unscheduled What we’re looking for: Strong communication (written and verbal) skills Aluminum Anodizing Supervision Experience preferred Strong supervisory and leadership skills Have a basic understanding of inorganic chemistry Excellent organizational skills Ability to learn and understand the Anodizing process and Crane Possess an understanding of process control concepts Ability to work in a team environment supportive of the employees, organization, as well as safety and production efforts is a Experience with the Toyota Production System approach.
