Description Western Container Tolleson is looking for a full time Blow Mold/ Closure Production Manager to join our team and begin unbottling their potential today! Since 1979 WCC has been producing high quality PET preforms and bottles for the Coca-Colas system. This position will oversee the Blow Mold and Closures production departments as well as lead continuous improvement to ensure the plant meets and exceeds company goals. Position co-manages Production Coordinators and others regarding safety, production, quality, cost, and continuous improvement. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing action plans to address issues including but not limited to production, downtime, inventory, scheduling, quality, safety, and assurance of supply to our customers. Additional responsibilities will include working with the Technical Manager to proactively address technical issues and ensure our preventative maintenance program is effectively maintained. Requirements • Ability to coach, mentor and reinforce the company culture to achieve the desired results • Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills • Some travel will be required • Knowledge of maintenance control systems relating to planning, scheduling, workload, productivity, efficiency factors and organizational structure • Ability to foster a strong work ethic in an environment built on teamwork and continuous improvement • Willingness to ensure a safe environment for all members by promoting safety awareness through training and feedback of safe working techniques and housekeeping practices • Ability to communicate professionally verbally and written • Ability to analyze data to plan, organize, and control multiple priorities • Ability to organize and maintain production and technical data Experience/Education Needed: Prefer degree with at least three years’ experience in a leadership position in a high-speed automated manufacturing plant. Prefer some hands-on maintenance experience on blow molding/ closure line equipment. We will consider individuals with bachelor’s degree in related field with an aptitude for leading others.
