As a Joinery Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Joinery projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a proactive approach to project management, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Fluency in Hindi and English is most important.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement production strategies, plans, and objectives aligned with company goals and customer requirements.
• Operational Management: Direct and coordinate production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization, to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the production process.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor production supervisors and operators to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Resource Management: Manage production resources, including equipment, materials, and labor, to optimize efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency gains through data analysis, performance monitoring, and operational reviews.
• Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Problem Solving: Checking drawings, pre-empting production issues, challenges, and bottlenecks in a timely manner, implementing preventive measures or corrective actions as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing principles, and best practices to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to resolve production-related issues and drive collaborative solutions.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), production metrics, and performance trends to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive performance excellence.
• Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs, skill development initiatives, and knowledge sharing sessions to enhance the capabilities and performance of production staff.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare production reports, performance metrics, and presentations for senior management review and decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS

• Years of progressive experience in production management in interior design industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, inventory management, and quality assurance.
• Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams to achieve performance goals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, production planning software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
