Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * This is a safety sensitive position * Lead daily Service Department Technician activities * Supervises shop personnel providing support with technical installations * Train employees on new products and safety procedures. Mentors new technicians * Monitor and review work schedules, technician productivity and labor control reports * Track monthly departmental results * Assures productivity standards are met * Provides “cradle to grave” customer service * May answer phones and provide assistance to customers  * Maintain a safe work area for customers and coworkers * Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned  * May cross train to perform other duties  * Perform in the role of shop expert  * Ensure Quality Controls are in place and performs inspections to verify repairs are performed to company and factory standards.  * Conduct shop meeting to cover safety, new policies, and manufacturer subjects Qualifications * Education:  1. High school diploma or equivalent is required * Licenses or certifications 1. Valid Driver’s license and good driving record required 2. Some supervisory experience is preferred 3. RVIA/RVDA certification or Master certification preferred 4. Forklift experience/certification preferred, or ability to be certified within one year is required * Experience: 1. Education and/or experience in the RV industry commensurate is required * Abilities:               1. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  2. Ability to plan and prepare work schedules for optimum coverage  3. Ability to communicate in a professional and tactful manner  4. Ability to prioritize work assignments  5. Ability to provide accurate and helpful information to customer  6. Ability to analyze and write reports  7. Ability to handle problems and facilitate successful outcomes 8. Willingness to accept additional tasks, duties and/or direction from management  9. Basic math skills 10. Comprehensive knowledge of product installation activities 11. Working knowledge of the activities, methods procedures and policies of a Service Department environment 12. Advanced knowledge of products, installation schedules, products prices and current sale items 13. Knowledge of MS Office 14. Ability to use company system applications, including Motility Systems2K and other software as applicable  15. Ability to safely handle solvents and chemicals 16. Ability to navigate other risks associated with working around machines, tools, and RVs 17. Ability to move RVs of various sizes as needed 18. Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending 19. Ability to stand for long periods of time.  20. Responsibilities
The Production Manager leads the service department team, supervises shop personnel, and ensures productivity standards are met. They are responsible for training employees, monitoring work schedules, and providing customer service.
