CAREERMAKERS ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED PRODUCTION MANAGER TO JOIN OUR GROWING CLIENT WITHIN THE PLASTICS MANUFACTURING SECTOR IN WINSFORD, CW7.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring targets are met, and maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day production activities on the shop floor
  • Manage and support a team of production staff
  • Create and manage staff rotas to ensure optimal coverage
  • Monitor workflow and production schedules to meet customer and internal deadlines
  • Ensure health & safety procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Identify and resolve any production issues quickly and effectively
  • Report on production output, challenges, and improvements to senior management
  • Work closely with other departments including Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role, ideally within plastics or manufacturing
  • Strong leadership and staff management skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning ability
  • Confident communicator at all levels
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of health & safety and quality standards in manufacturing
  • IT literate and comfortable with basic reporting tools/systems

Salary: £40,000
Shift Times: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00 per year
