We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to manage our production operations from our Head Office in Fenstanton. This is an exciting new opportunity for someone to own the production KPIs, identify opportunities and drive improvement through the department.
The Production Department is divided into two sub-departments: Cut to size (beam saws and glass table) and Assembly (samples, chop service, hanger stamping and marketing launches). You will be responsible for all aspects of production, from safety, resource allocation, workload planning and quality control, to team management. • Overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the production department
• Safety compliance: ensuring adherence to H&S regulations and promoting a safe and clean working environment
• Establishing and maintaining quality standards, conducting inspections and ensuring products meet specified requirements
• Ensuring productivity & efficiency targets are being met
• Leading and mentoring the Production team
• Managing departmental budgets in collaboration with the Head of Operations
• Driving continuous improvement across people, systems, and workflows
• Recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance managing the production team
