JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Manager is responsible for leading all production operations at Circle U Foods’ food manufacturing facility. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products by overseeing production schedules, staffing, and line performance. The Production Manager sets the pace and tone on the floor—balancing daily execution with continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput, reduce waste, and maintain compliance. This role is hands-on and people-forward, accountable for both the output and the team behind it.

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
• 4+ years of food manufacturing experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in food production.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent walking, bending, and physical navigation of production areas.
• Exposure to a manufacturing environment including variable temperatures, spice particulates, and noise.
• Consistent and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

OTHER DUTIES:

• Follow food safety and quality protocols.
• Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
