Job Summary: The Production Manager at ClearPath Medical oversees all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient, high-quality production of medical devices in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485). This role leads a team of production staff, optimizes workflows, manages resources, and drives continuous improvement to meet company objectives and customer demands. Key Responsibilities: Production Oversight: Manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring timely production of medical devices while maintaining quality and safety standards. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators; foster a culture of accountability and collaboration. Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs using lean manufacturing principles. Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO 13485) and company quality management systems; support audits and corrective actions. Resource Management: Oversee inventory, equipment, and staffing levels to meet production schedules; coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams. Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as production output, downtime, and defect rates, and develop strategies to meet targets. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality, and R&D teams to support new product introductions and process validations. Safety & Maintenance: Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure regular maintenance of production equipment to minimize downtime. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) a plus. Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role; experience in medical device or regulated industries strongly preferred. Skills: Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, GMP, and quality management systems. Proven leadership and team-building abilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., QT9) and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA, ISO 13485).
