Description
Key Responsibilities Production & Operations * Manage daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets * Optimize use of manpower, machines, materials, and capacity * Plan production based on forecast and demand (ERP-driven) * Drive cost control, productivity, and operational efficiency Process Improvement & Engineering * Lead continuous improvement initiatives (process, layout, automation) * Troubleshoot production, process, and equipment issues * Support equipment selection, upgrades, and capacity expansion Quality & Compliance * Ensure adherence to quality systems and customer requirements * Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions * Maintain compliance with QMS, EHS, and internal standards Leadership & Team Management * Build, lead, and develop production team performance * Drive workforce engagement, training, and capability development * Ensure safe, compliant, and high-performance work environment Cross-functional Collaboration * Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other functions * Support audits, customer visits, and improvement projects Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related) * 8+ years in manufacturing/production, including 3+ years in leadership * Strong experience in process improvement, troubleshooting, and operations management * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma is an advantage * Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills   Coherent Corp. is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
