THE POSITION

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager at our Newport site in South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high safety and quality standards and managing production processes whilst working to a budget.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and processes.
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet business objectives and customer demands.
  • Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain, to optimize production processes.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve production targets.
